For several years, a group of liturgical evangelical parishes and ministers in Croatia and Serbia had considered joining the Reformed Episcopal Church. In May 2011, Bishops Grote and Meyer traveled to Croatia to officially receive them under the oversight of our Church in Germany. Jasmin Milić was consecrated Bishop to serve the missionary churches in Croatia.
The very first service was held in a 400 year old building previously used for church services, Good Shepherd Reformed Episcopal Church in Osijek, Croatia, with about 20 attendees.
